Philip Teye Agbove is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian investigative journalist and fact-checker with the Media Foundation for West Africa. His work exposes corruption and human rights abuses, defends Indigenous and community rights, and interrogates environmental destruction, human trafficking, and failures of public accountability.

He has collaborated on major cross-border investigations with international media organizations including the BBC, CBC, and Bloomberg. Philip is the 2025 KAS Media Africa Award laureate for Local Journalism, Best Community Reporter in West Africa at the 2025 CJID Excellence in Journalism Awards, and Best News Journalist of the Year (Online) at the 2024 Ghana Journalists Association Media Awards.

His journalism has been recognized by the International Justice Mission and the Media Foundation for West Africa, and has earned global acclaim, including a shortlisting for the 2025 Amnesty International Media Awards and a mention for the TRACE Prize.
